A Day in May is fast approaching and Aussie Rock Icon, James Reyne (Official) is joining Challenge to encourage YOU to help give little Aussie Battlers the gift of music!
Challenge and James have worked together for many years and know very well the difference music can make in a whole range of circumstances, but particularly for kids living with cancer.
It is often difficult to express the range of emotions that diagnosis, treatment and hospitalisation can bring about; but when words fail, music speaks and that is why we want YOU and YOUR school to support our A Day in May campaign.
The annual campaign raises funds for the Challenge Musical Moments Trust – which helps provide musical experiences for pre-and primary school-aged cancer patients and their siblings.
We often take music and its therapeutic benefits for granted, but A Day in May is a fantastic way to celebrate its power. Getting involved is simple and it is the perfect opportunity for school kids to ditch the uniform for the day to dress up as their favourite POPSTAR for a gold coin donation.
