At Challenge, we understand that even during treatment, children still want to enjoy the same experiences as their friends, whether that’s attending a concert, sporting event, theatre production or special live performance. We also appreciate the uncertainty families face throughout treatment. Plans can change very quickly due to hospital admissions, illness or changes in health, which can make purchasing expensive tickets incredibly stressful and, at times, simply not possible.
Through the generosity of our supporters, promoters, venues and corporate partners, Challenge endeavours to provide as many ticketing opportunities as possible for the families we support. In many instances, we are also able to access safer and more comfortable environments, such as corporate boxes or reserved areas, allowing immunocompromised children and their families to attend events away from large crowds.
If there is a particular concert, show, sporting event or experience your child would love to attend, we encourage families to let us know so we can place your name on our waitlist. While we always do our very best to secure tickets, registering interest does not guarantee tickets, as allocations are dependent on the availability of tickets provided by our generous supporters and event promoters.
If attending a specific event is especially important to your family, we would always recommend purchasing tickets directly where possible to avoid disappointment. However, where we are able to assist, our team will contact families directly.
