Cops N Kids Striking Gold

Departing for Cops N Kids Camp on an early Friday morning, the sound of sirens echoed along King Street in West Melbourne as our campers set off in style. Escorted by the Ballarat police, they made their way to the Sovereign Hill Lodge, ready for a weekend packed with unforgettable adventures.

From soaring through the skies in helicopter rides, taking in breathtaking views of Ballarat’s forests and lakes dotted with tiny, ant-sized figures, to striking gold at the Red Hill Gully Diggings, the weekend was brimming with excitement. In between the adrenaline-filled activities, there was also time to unwind and get creative with arts and crafts, letting imaginations run wild and providing a perfect balance to the action.

Cops N Kids Camp has become a cherished tradition, and year after year, we are humbled by the overwhelming generosity and support of the Ballarat community. Every individual involved goes above and beyond to ensure the kids have the time of their lives, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

The experiences shared at this camp are truly life changing. From building lifelong friendships to boosting confidence and self-esteem, Cops N Kids Camp enriches the lives of everyone who takes part, leaving them with memories to treasure forever.
