One of the greatest joys that Challenge has, is being able to visit the friendly and inviting town of Cohuna. Being a city kid for the last two years has consisted of living in your bedroom studying or not being able to travel far from home due to the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic.
Now that we are slowly moving in the right direction, a group of Challenge kids were excited and lucky enough to become part of the Challenge Griswald family, venturing in a bus convoy to 2022 Cohuna Camp.
Our campers escaped the hustle and bustle of life in the city and called the rural town of Cohuna home for the weekend – surrounded by native forests and stunning wetlands.
From fishing on the banks of the majestic Gunbower Creek to four-wheel driving and horse riding, there was always some sort of adventure to embark on. And if you were looking for some R&R, the Cohuna Camp team had you sorted with plenty of time to chill out and unwind with, as always, impeccable company.
This is the sixth time the Cohuna community has welcomed Challenge with such open arms, and we are so grateful for their generosity. A very big thank you to the incredible Brooke Southern and her amazing team for their patience, passion, and commitment to bringing this camp together. Challenge is very grateful to all the volunteers and businesses, who played their part in making this camp so special.
Together, you have created a weekend of memories that our members will be talking about for a lifetime.
