Six years on, Jarrod Lyle’s legacy is still making a huge impact on the golfing world and Challenge. Yellow Day, an important component of the Australian PGA Championship’s second round, achieved tremendous success. Hundreds of participants and spectators donned yellow attire in a heartfelt display of support for our dearly beloved friend and late ambassador, Jarrod.
Lucas Herbert, our esteemed friend and ambassador, took centre stage as the official face of Yellow Day 2023. The Challenge community was deeply moved by the overwhelming response, knowing that Jarrod would look down with pride at the unity of his golfing comrades, who continue to uphold his remarkable legacy of supporting children and families living with cancer.
A significant highlight of the day was the unveiling of our #DoingItForJarrod Honour Board. This recognition pays tribute to the outstanding efforts of golf clubs nationwide throughout 2023, uniting to raise over $200,000 in honour of Jarrod.
Our sincere gratitude goes to the PGA of Australia for their unwavering support and for inviting us to be involved in this incredible initiative. Your continued support provides us with a platform to raise crucial awareness and funds, brightening the lives of many families.
Special thanks to Lucas for his support of Yellow Day and Challenge. Leuk is very lucky to be able to join you on all your golfing adventures, and we are continuously grateful to the platform you give Challenge, helping us raise important awareness. You are a star!
