The Cohuna Camp is the latest addition to our camping calendar, with the inaugural camp departing the Challenge Family Centre in August of 2015.
This camp provides our 8 – 12-year-old members with an opportunity to experience many different aspects of country life amongst a very tight knit, kind and caring community. Activities include scavenger hunts, helicopter rides, fishing, a ropes course, petting zoo and more.
Each year, Challenge member and volunteer, Brooke Southern, hosts a fundraising dinner in her home town of Cohuna. The event, ‘A Night to Remember,’ is held in memory of Brooke’s sister Rebecca, and two other Challenge members from Cohuna, Thomas and Hayden.
The funds raised from this night go towards the activities and experiences provided to Challenge members at Cohuna camp!
Stay tuned for more information on our 2019 camp!
