Challenge was established as an auspice program of the Australian Red Cross in 1983. By 1990, Challenge had expanded from providing an annual camping experience for children and young people living with cancer to become the first organisation in Victoria to provide a range of ongoing support and recreational activities for families living with cancer.
Our promise is to deliver practical, personalised services of exceptional quality to ensure that children and families living with cancer are well supported throughout their cancer journey. We do this by staying true to our values.
Meet the talented team from the Challenge Board.
We are grateful to have the continued support of some famous faces, who play a vital role in the work we do.
Over many years, Challenge has worked with like-minded organisations and Foundations to provide various opportunities and experiences for our families.
Our sponsors provide support in many different ways, whether that be financial, through sponsorships, equipment provision, event support or other important services.
Challenge would not be able to operate without the time and support of our dedicated volunteers.
