Teen Night

Challenge provides an opportunity for our teenage members, including brothers and sisters, to meet and hang out with people their own age who are also going through a cancer journey.

Being a teenager is often a difficult time, but it can be made even more difficult with the side effects of cancer treatment, such as fatigue and hair loss. The time spent in hospital can leave a teenager feeling lonely and isolated.

We plan fun and unique events, either on the ward or within the community. Activities have included ten-pin bowling, a cooking night with Matt Preston and a fashion shoot with Myer model Kris Smith. Food and drinks are provided for the teens and Challenge also offers a chance for the parents of those attending to get together and enjoy a meal.
