We strive to make hospital as enjoyable as possible by providing children and their families with an ongoing presence at the RCH, the Monash Medical Centre (MMC) and other hospitals as required.

Our support aims to make hospital stays a little brighter by providing activities and services that help to relieve the boredom which is often felt during stays on the ward.

Hospital activities include cooking, arts and crafts, celebrity visits, bedside games, laptop computers with wireless internet connection, DVDs, portable DVD players, PlayStation consoles and games and FOXTEL, all of which act as a positive distraction from hospital treatments.

Once a month, Challenge transforms the Playroom at the RCH into an area where parents can enjoy a delicious three course meal and engage in conversations with other parents.
