Dear Challenge,

Thank you all a thousand times over for Luka’s wonderful ‘Disney on Ice’ experience and for all you do for not only Luka but the thousands of cancer kids in Australia each year. I was privileged enough to have joined the ‘Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend Gala Dinner’  and got to see first hand the huge scale that you tackle things on. Well Done! The cancer experience is such an isolating experience and ‘as far from normal life’ as we could ever have imagined it to be. Thank you for working so tirelessly at bringing a little normalcy and loads of sunshine into our lives at a time when our perspective looked very grey.
Much gratitude, happy & appreciative smiles and hugs always, Kimberley, Steve & Luka

Dear Challenge,

I just wanted to say thank you for organising the weekend away for mums which was held in April. It was quite wonderful, very relaxing and exactly what the doctor would have ordered for a parent caring for a sick child. I felt, success lay in the detail and by this I mean that everything had been thought through to the very last- even the magazines which were on the coffee table and up to date! Wow! Everything ran so smoothly that I knew there had been a lot of thought in putting together eight women and making it work. Well done and thankyou once again!

Klara

To the staff at Challenge,

We have sat here for weeks trying to find the perfect words to express just how thankful we were to stay at the Queensland accommodation. Words are not enough at this point to express how we are feeling so if you, the staff at Challenge could gather together in a circle….come on all of you, and conduct a group hug that is just a part of our thank you from us. We had a great holiday and we could not have done it without the support and generosity of the Challenge staff and volunteers. WE LOVE YOUR WORK!!!
Thanks, Hayley-Rose, Hayden, Tracey and Stephen

Dear Challenge,

I had a fantastic time on camp. I was so excited when I found out that I would be going. I really enjoyed ten pin bowling, I was pretty good at it because I have done it before with Chloe. When I first walked into the rock climbing centre, I thought it looked scary, but when I had a go at it, it wasn’t scary at all. I was a bit worried about seeing Monster House as well but it wasn’t that scary either. The Melbourne Show was great. I got to go on lots of rides and I love my Betty Boop Showbag. I have never been to the M.C.G. so that was very exciting. We also went to Phillip Island and saw the Penguin Parade, and saw the Pelicans get fed. We walked through a maze and got lost and played mini golf and lots of other games. I got to go swimming on Wednesday night I’ve never been in a pool that big before. When I saw the waterslide I didn’t want to go on it but it was fun. I loved the wave pool because when I was in the deep end it pushed me back to the shallow end. I made lots of new friends, Lucy, Charli, Bianca, Eliza, Lauren and Simone. It was the best camp ever.
Love from Tayla xx
