Organising an event can be as simple as having a sausage sizzle or as grand as a gala ball. You could raise $30 or $30,000, you'll feel great and have stacks of fun in the process.

If you’re interested in helping to raise funds for Challenge we would be extremely grateful. We welcome any ideas or suggestions and are happy to help you in any way we can.

Here’re some examples of how easy it can be:

Have your own Biggest Aussie Pie Night!

In the good old Australian spirit of helping little Aussie battlers, The Biggest Aussie Pie NightTM celebrates a true blue fundraising tradition in support of children and families living with cancer.

During August 2009 pubs, sporting clubs, businesses, friends & family can set aside one night or day to host a pie night and raise money for Challenge.

You can even have a pie day on a Friday at your work or school! Any time is a good time to hoe into a great Australian taste!

The campaign will kick off with The Biggest Aussie Pie Night at the MCG, round 18, Collingwood v Hawthorn on July 18th. At this event Four N' Twenty will be donating $1 for every pie sold so get along to the game and indulge in a great Aussie past time - football and meat pies!!!!

Gala Dinner / Golf Day

A group of friends, with the support of Eastwood Golf Club, recently raised funds to thank Challenge for their care of a very special little boy called Brodie.

They held a Glamour and Glitz Dinner to launch a very successful six months campaign of fundraising, culminating in a corporate golf day. With the support of Eastwood members, the local business community and some wonderful sponsors, particularly Honda Australia, Ted's Camera Stores, and many, many more they raised a total of $37,103.

The group was delighted with the result, but more importantly they enjoyed the journey, the friendship of the working committee and the opportunity to contribute to Challenge.

Your school or workplace could hold a Bad Hair Day™, casual dress or theme day - you’re only limited by your imagination.

If you decide to raise funds, please contact Challenge office to receive a letter of authorisation and volunteer accreditation. If you would like to use the Challenge logo to assist in promoting your event, please contact us prior to advertising your event.
