Challenge was established by Graham Walsh in March 1983, as Camp Challenge. The program provided a camping experience for kids with cancer.
By 1990 Challenge became the first organisation in Victoria to provide ongoing support and recreational activities for children and young people living with cancer and other life-threatening blood disorders.
Since the early days Challenge has expanded from a valuable camping program, to become a multi-faceted organisation offering a range of recreational and support services.
